"This was my maiden voyage EVER on a sailboat. It was my Birthday Evening at 56. I went alone, with just my camera. This is one of my many favorites photographs captured on that July 9,2009  Sunset cruise. I fell in love with sailing that evening and It has been a part of me ever since. I have taken sailing Classes , formal & private all summer & fall. I Spent 5 days at the Annapolis Boat show from dawn till dusk, Loving every minute and absorbing all the information. In Fact! I now own my own Sailboat. I just just bought a 48 ft Cheoy Lee Offshore Sloop, as alive aboard novice and will continue to learn to sail & explore the Bay. You guys made me fall in love with sailing with the beauty of your Woodwind cruises. RAH..... RAHHH...RAH!!!! I have had many family groups AND FRIENDS join you since my eve. this summer,  to experience the Woodwind Sails....All have been thrilled with the views and power of the ride! Thanks for the beginnings to a wonderful dream come true...as I always dreamed of sailing and I am REALLY learning to sail... I LOVE Annapolis and I LOVE the Woodwind Schooner journeys."

We will post photo contest entries two to three times each month to this site. All entries are eligible for the Grand Prize, selected in late December of 2009, based on originality, creative use of subject matter, and of course, how good they are for promotional use!

The Grand Prize winner will receive a gift certificate for one cabin of our "Boat & Breakfast" package for 2010!
