July 10, 2012 It is a pleasant, sunny day with a light breeze. There is just enough wind to keep Woodwind II moving.

For this young lady, this is a first. She is smiling at the helm of Woodwind.
Light air sailing is always the most difficult. The young lady at the helm is smiling because she can see the results of her concentration. Small motions of the wheel produce a steady course. Good job!
About Captain Ken
How do you answer the question, What do I want to do when I grow up? For me, it was, ask the question what do I love to do that I can share with others and make it a career? I taught instrumental music to elementary students for 25 years. When that was no longer an option due to budget cuts, I asked the question again? This time the answer was, with the help of my family, Schooner Woodwind.
