This is the day before my husband started chemo for a bone marrow transplant. Since he’ll be on contact precautions, it was a special day to be out and free on the water!

Beautiful photo — LOVE the symbolism of the sun starburst! My 25 year old daughter went through cancer treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma including chemo, stem cell transplant and radiation a couple of years ago. It’s a hard, long road but she is in her 2nd year of remission now. I’m praying for the same for your husband! Hang TOUGH!
As a transplant recipient myself, I can attest to the power of doing something that you love before surgery. Wonderful shot!
